Does This Make Me A Bad Person?

Rambo rocks. I loved that part!

Anyway, I do not believe that it makes you a bad person at all. As Socrates pointed out, look at those in the medical field. They have to perform surgery and they see all kinds of interesting organs! Actually, the idea of me cutting away at flesh with a small knife makes me squirm, but someone blowing up due to a grenade doesn't. Are military troops 'bad' because they witness horrific events, and have to get their act together to stay alive?

It's all a matter of perspective, and knowing what is morally right and wrong. What is good, and what is evil.

Edit: Horror slasher movies... can never get into them, nor would recommend anyone to over indulge in them either.

Edit #2: I apologize if my post may seem lacking, but it's 12:40 in the morning and I'm tired.

Archaeology cat

I'm pretty much desensitized to blood & gore in movies & the like (archaeologists are generally obsessed with death, to ;) ) I have found that, since having a child, things bother me more, but pretty much just if it's related to children.

your desensitization to images of violence would not mean that you wouldn't be totally messed up when faced with real life threatening violence. but yeah, gut reactions do not determine if you're a good person or not.

I agree. Needed more structure and more heroism.
