Guest Guest
This Saturday I went to Confession and waited in line for 40 minutes but the line was so long that Father couldn't hear mine b/c he had to go say Mass. I couldn't stay afterward b/c my mom needed the car and so I am still in a state of mortal sin and Ash Wednesday is coming up! Can I still participate in Mass even though I have not confessed yet? I plan on it this Saturday.
Adeodatus
Yes, you can still participate in Mass. If you are convinced you have committed a mortal sin, then don't receive Communion. You can still take part in Mass, and receive your ashes. And good luck on getting your confession heard next Saturday! See also the recent question in this board on 'Delayed Confession'. God bless you. Adeo
