I participated, and I think it was a cool concept. The idea is prove a point -- that we use a whole lot of energy and we waste so much of it. It's the good 'ol "turn your lights off when you leave the room" idea. Regardless of how you feel about global warming, you can always benefit from saving energy, whether it be you saving on your bill or preventing extra pollution in the environment.
I've heard about it.

I gurantee you fully 50% of people here in Ireland either didn't hear about this, will forget this or don't give a cud about this.

The other 50% would be the ones who won't do it out of spite.
I was on phatmass around 8pm last night, with my bedroom light turned on and my mobile phone charging. But when I logged off I turned my computer off and turned off the light to my room. I like to conserve ;)

I was working until 11 last night. The hospital really couldn't do it. But it was funny because I had one cute little old lady who did it. I went in to take her vitals and she said, "There is a reason my lights are off." She explained and I said, "Well, I guess the hospital really doesn't care." She said, "Well, within reason you know." She was so cute! She just laid there in the bed with the lights off and the tv off. She said, "When 9 comes around I'll turn them back on and turn the tv on."

I love my patients!
