Acceptable Forms Of Affection When Not Married?

I know that as a Catholic you are supposed to wait to have sex until you are married and I do plan on waiting. But what is okay? As a teenager in high school I feel the pressure of doing things that I know are not okay so I try my best to avoid those situations. But is it okay to kiss and hold hands? I was just wondering...Thanks so much for your response!

Sex and sexual pleasure are good things given by God, and they are for marriage.

Kissing and holding hands may well be okay, but if they cause a stirring of sexual passion in you (and if you're not married) there is no good, holy, wholesome consummation of that passion available to you, i.e. married sex.

So in general, if the path in front of you can only inevitably lead you to where you can't go, don't go down that path, and don't even set foot on it.
