Theologian in Training Posted February 20, 2004 Share Posted February 20, 2004 In Redemptoris Missio the Pope attributed a large part of people's loss of faith to a skewed or completely defunct concept of Christology. in essence, there is a separation between "The Jesus of History," and "The Christ of Faith." Perhaps, your next reference can be specifically on Christology, as that seems to be a very important aspect of theology that is all too often missed. Just a suggestion...
