Just wanted to say I finished the filioque project. My final paper was trimmed down to roughly 39 pages from well over 50. If anyone who remembers the great filioque talks wants to read a copy let me know.

pray for me with FUS. I applied for the Masters distance program, but I am worried I will not make it in.

Keep the Faith. FUS will most likely accept you. If not, just apply again and PRAY!

I recieved your email with the paper Rev, and I will reply with how I think in a bit. I'll be doing a bit of study into the Trinity in a week or two for a class, so it'll be interesting to read your paper while reading the course material.

You referenced SVTQ volume 48 (2004) and I was wondering what number that was. I know the issue (and I know it isn't 2-3 because I have that volume sitting in my living room) but I can't recall the exact number and I'd like to acquire it.

The paper looks pretty sweet so far, I read up to page 7 but haven't had a moment to give the whole thing a close read.

I have the article itself. Erickson, John H . “A welcome new study of a very old issue.” St Vladimir's Theological Quarterly 48 (2004): 89-92.

-Working from North American Orthodox Catholic Theological Constiution's “The filioque, a church dividing issue?” Understands that with the issue being theological and eccesiological that it can become a symbol of difference. Representing what both sides feel is lacking in the other. He feels the issue is oversimplified as theological and is about Roman papacy and primacy more than anything else.

I can email it to you. Just let me know.

I got through your introduction. It'll be interesting to see how you apply the Augustian model for both East and West.

Hoping to get through it either Saturday or Sunday.
