Apotheoun
During the two years that I was there I never had a class with Fr. (Dr.) Dan. My favorite professor was, is, and will always be, Dr. Hildebrand.
Brother Adam
Dr. Hildebrand simply IS the best teacher at FUS. I learned more from one of his classes than I did the rest of the year with other profs combined. I wish he taught more distance ed MA classes. I gotta ask why. FUS has a distance learning program? Edited March 17, 2008 by Light and Truth
jeffpugh
I didn't apply to a Lutheran seminary, I said the other University in which I applied for the music program has a Lutheran seminary... I want to take some theological courses, so I want to be in a somewhat Catholic environment. Yeah, I'll try to be clearer next time.

We petitioned to have him teach an undergrad class on the Cappadocian Fathers, but it fell through and I never got to take the class.
N/A Gone
I talked to Dr. Hildebrand via email a couple times while I was writing my filioque paper (thanks to Adam) I wonder if I should contact him about applying to FUS. He seems like a very nice guy with a great mind. I am still waiting. Very concerning right now.

N/A Gone
I do not like waiting that long with no control. Srsly, who takes a month?
Thy Geekdom Come
I don't know...I loved having both Dr. Hildebrand and Dr. Bergsma. Both of them are awesome theology profs. As for the catechetics faculty...I thought they were all awesome in their own unique ways.
N/A Gone
They deposited my check. OH NO>>>> ok, so if I do not get accepted into FUS what other MA distance programs do we know of? If it all falls thru I could go proto MA, I still have offers. But I want a catholic MA.
