Just the word on the street. I was hoping to use it for my parish. I'm currently having the the quark vs. InDesign vs. Adobe Creative Suite debate... I make everything from Posters, Prayer Cards, Mass Cards, to brochures, Christmas and Easter Cards, Newsletters, and publisher just isn't cutting it (surprise) for the printer so I have to have someone else transfer it into the correct format and I'm just ready to do some new things. I'd like to be able to do the kind of things dUSt is doing up there...
Veritas
+ Oh, and I wasn't really being sarcastic, I really do think you guys are so funny. I liked it. As a total off-topic: I just want to say that MLKolbe is so very nice. Seriously, I think you have the best attitude around phatmass. If this were high school (and thank God for at least some of us it's not), I'd vote you nicest and mostest friendliest maximus. Thanks for being so groovy. (Yes, and I know and am glad that you are happily married -I'm paying you a totally disinterested platonic-type compliment. [Isn't it crazy how opposite gendered people have to think about those things?])

REPUTATION..AT.STAKE..... thank for the compliment. I took it platonically, don't worry...i am especially hideous looking (worse than dUSt and hot stuff combined) More seriously, for creative purposes, I like CS. For prepress purposes, I like Quark....

But if you're doing print, I'd suggest Adobe. You get the InDesign and Photoshop together. But then again you didn't ax me.
prose
I like PhotoImpact. It is cheap and easy to use.
littleflower+JMJ
I heard he uses Paint (the free version on Windows). And its his mad skillz that make it awe-some. Seriously.
