It is a drive that you normally put inside a desktop computer, hence the term "internal." Normally, those drives you see above are inside the computer, not sticking in a dock

BTW, that is not meant to sound sarcastic or arrogant, I am trying to explain it as best I can. Sometimes I get accused of that, especially with technology, just wanted to clear that up.

ETA: I've seen similar ones that are more like a case that you have to mount a normally internal hard drive in, and my Dad owns one. They do the same thing, though: turn an internal HD into an external USB one. So, search around; you mightn't have to pay the shipping from Japan!

I actually something similar to that. It's a dock that install in your computer and allows you to switch hard drives easily.
