Good idea. But... In the meantime, you can make one yourself.

Go to your iGoogle page.
Click on "Add Stuff"
On the left, click on "Add feed or gadget"
Paste in the following URL: http://www.phatmass.com/phorum/index.php?act=rssout&id=1

I was just going to suggest him! The moment I read the title of this thread I expected to see his post as the first reply.

I'm his sister-in-law, it's my job to bug him

They have a wizard for basic gadgets. I just skimmed some of the Google Gadgets API documentation and gadgets are basically created via XML but things can be further tricked out via JavaScript. It looks pretty straight forward but it is proprietary so I would need a little time to absorb all the relevant documentation. Of course it depends on what you have in mind because I’m comfortable enough to dive into a minor project right now if need be. I’ve worked with plenty of XML-JavaScript systems so I could learn the finer details of their implementation as I go.

So what did you have in mind anyway?

I made the basic gadget thanks to Dust, but you could make a really nice one and a theme to match and upload it
so when you type catholic in the theme search engine other people could use it. I love my igoogle pages, I have tabs for news, church, and fun, and I wanted phatmass there as well. It is much better than yahoo or msn.

I wonder if the invision powerboard people offer iGoogle gadgets that can be stylized that already integrate with their forum software? It would save a lot of work anyway. If they don't we should develop an IVP gadget for them and beta test it via phatmass so that Google using phatmassers can have a light phatmass interface in their Google stuff. Maybe just something simple like recent post and who is currently online or whatever. Cmom? dUSt?

I followed their directions and now have phatmass on my igoogle homepage. I know you can figure out how to make it better. I didn't know how to put a pic on it. And can you make a gadget so I can put your blog on my page as well?
