I feel like a geek for doing this, but I'll do it anyway.

My archbishop invited me to cook and have dinner with him next week. What should I prepare? What should I charge him? (Only half kidding...)
Bread and water, then remind him it's Lent. :P

It's the snowiest winter in history in WI, so I've been making roasts more frequently. If my yearly bonus is good to me, I might splurge on roast lamb marsala.

We're getting classic Canadian snow here

Classic winter food would be stew

Though I'm sticking to the Italian dishes mentioned by Era and I as First and Second courses. Give him a pork chop for the third if it really kills ya not to have meat. Finish with a nice pie.

I don't mind the cold, but we're running out of room to move the snow drifts. It's getting a little out of hand. I have a few strong words for Al Gore, and I'm sure they could make a sailor blush.

Hmmm...minced meat pie.

P.S. My pot roast vs. my beef stew is not much different, just the meat isn't pre-cut.
