Lounge Daddy
These two headlines are pretty sad for the Clinton run: REPORT: Some Clinton Senior Staff Working Without Pay, Including Campaign Manager... HILLARY LOANS CAMPAIGN $5M Meanwhile... Lounge Daddy
That's $5 Mil of Hillary's own money, and her staff working w/ out pay. Not good for Clinton
XIX
Suddenly I almost hope Hilary wins the nomination. Would she be out of money in the general election, or would a primary victory lead to enough funds to fund her campaign all the way?
goldenchild17
interesting, I wouldn't have thought her campaign would be hurting for cash already
XIX
What are the odds that we would see a Barack/Hilary ticket, or a Hilary/Barack ticket? How about Edwards as a VP? Not that I care, the Democratic primary is like watching the Yankees play against the Cowboys. It's evil vs. evil.

Autumn Dusk
I'm wondering if this is a true sign of financial health or a publicity stunt. You know, the poor penniless woman fighting against big bad Barak O'Bama?
dUSt
It's hilarious to me that Obama and Clinton talk so much about helping the poor and blow so much money on getting elected. Either way, one of them is gonna basically have wasted enough money in their loss to feed an entire country for months.

dUSt
Why can't we put limits on spending and even the playing field a little bit? Is that what all this talk about "campaign finance reform" is about?

BG45
We won't see Barack/Hillary if he gets the nomination. It goes against his campaign focusing on change to have a Clinton; aren't we all a bit tired of dynasties? Now if Hillary gets it, she might scoop him up as VP. I think Obama's best bet is Richardson for VP, though he sacrifices a lot of votes if he does so probably in some states, simply because Richardson is latino. They could fund any of these programs they want to implement. If I ran for something, I think my platform would be 'All the money you guys donate to me, is going to fund ___ program (social security, health care, education, you name it...) catholicinsd
I really am looking to four years down the road already. Most likely we'll either have a President Obama, McCain or Rodham Clinton. None of these really stand out to me.

They can run as the clean-up crew after Clinton and Obama are finished. Edited February 7, 2008 by Lounge Daddy
