This thread will serve to satisfy some portion of my curiosity regarding the habits of 21st century Catholic or quasi-Catholics. Nonetheless, I think it will be interesting.

For me, hmmm... The only "show" (as in series) I really watch are the first few season reruns of Gilmore Girls.

You?

USA is a fabulous network if I need to tune out noisy neighbors I'll put that on.

Otherwise Kyle XY on ABC Family

And Discovery channel...although the amount of waste in mythbusters has gotten to me lately, as well as the really annoying Man Vs Wild guy and the Paris Hilton-wanna be Mike Rowe. I do like Survivor man (He's the real deal)

I really don't watch 'Dirty Jobs' that much myself so maybe I missed something, but how is Mike Rowe a Paris Hilton wannabe?

uhmmm.... NCIS (i love Ziva David, of course...) and Dr. House...

years ago my favourite show was something with angels who had each time a diferent "mission". the name of one was Monica. i really liked the angel of death. but i can't remember the name of the show anymore.

else, i record on sundays a jewish show, it's each week a 15 min discussion of the Talmud, and after that an orthodox and then a cprotestant program, followed by mass.

I watch the Independent Film Channel a lot.

I don't watch any particularly unique tv series'. 24, Prison Break, Alias back when that was on, Rob & Big (on MTV), any South Park episode that isn't of a particularly sexual or ill-informed Church-bashing nature (which narrows the list a little :D), House whenever I can catch it, Scrubs, any That 70's show episodes which aren't overly perverted, sometimes Jackass when I'm tired :).

But mostly the IFC channel.

I watch a lot of Avatar (just a good show even though it is on a "children's network") and I was watching "Pushing Daisies" until the stupid writer's strike ruined it for me :( and, of course, "The Simpsons." I used to like "Family Guy," but sometimes it gets a little too over the edge and unnecessarily attacks, well, every religion and pretty much everything. I used to watch "Heroes" but got bored with it.

And when they were on, I liked "Wonderfalls" (same director as "Pushing Daisies") "Titus" a really funny show, though edgy at times, "Newsradio" until Phil Harman died, and " 3rd Rock From The Sun" all of which I have most of the DVD's of. Oh, I also used to watch "Futurama." :)

NewsRadio is still my favorite sitcom of all time :), I liked it after Phil Hartman died but it definitely wasn't as good as it had been. I like The Simpsons seasons 1-10, after that I think the writing took a huge turn for the worse, and I agree Family Guy does go over the edge to much, but I've seen some pretty upsetting things with the Simpsons regarding religion.

No wonder you like "Pushing Daisies" :)

And, btw, before actually seeing him in person, and seeing how horribly he sold out, I used to watch Criss Angel. I may actually be on the show this upcoming season....what he did was really poor and it was definitely not worth the 4 hour wait and being herded like cattle...
