Laudate_Dominum
Have you seen the pipes that they have at the Lord of the Rings store? I forget the website name and I don't have the link saved on this computer . . . You should check them out, they have more pipes. Thank you BLAZEr, I've seen their pipes and have searched all over the net and I think these pipes are the best quality. The LOTR store pipes are considerably cheaper but they seem to be pretty low quality. Many of them are clay and would probably break quite easily. Others are more like show pieces that are smokable, but it wouldn't be the best smoke in the world. These ones are made by a top quality pipe manufacturer and are made of very good materials and are intended for smoking. God Conquers
Aragorn's pipe definately... it's the coolest. However 199 Euros for a PIPE! Yikes!

I've found it for $165 on ebay. Nice things cost money I suppose. Although this is the main thing holding me back right now, besides my indeciseveness, I can't afford it at the moment, but one of these days! Matthew
I prefer Gandalf's pipe. I think it has a cooler design
Laudate_Dominum
Wow, this poll really expresses my own indeciveness. It's all pretty even. I though there would be one pipe that was superior to the other.. Shucks

immaculata
Aragorn's looks more manly, but Gandalf's is the more wise/philosopher type. I'd go w/ Gandalf

That's a tough call!! Manly or wise/philosopher? I can't make such a choice! Hopefully all you lovely voters out there will make it for me. ;)
Ash Wednesday
I'm changing my vote to Gandolfs. Bilbo's pipe is tres elegante, but someone pointed out that's nice for collecting. But if you're gonna use it, use Gandolfs. The long ones are so cool.

Lord of the Rings Fanatic Shop I think I actually found another site too, but can't locate it this morning for some reason. I'll keep looking. marielapin
My initial thought when I saw this thread was: Gimli's Pipe! But that's not an option. All of them look really cool, but Aragorn's is my favorite of the three, followed closely by Gandalf's.
BlackOrpheus
My advice to you would be to head to your local tobacconist and see what they have to offer. Long-stemmed pipes have been around for a long time, and a quality one can be had for as little as $60 US. They won't quite be LOTR fan service, but they will be an elegant, satisfying smoke. Thanks black. Actually I've looked around quite a bit and haven't found anything quite like these Pipes in terms of overall style and quality. These pipes are not available in the U.S. either. And while there are many fine pipes of the churchwarden variety that are less expensive, I've yet to find one that really suits my fancy. These three Vauen pipes are all to my liking, my problem in this case has been actually deciding between the three.

But in the end they seem to be lacking in quality and the style does not have the impact on me as the vauen pipes. The main thing these pipes have going for them, in my opinion, is a more reasonable price. But I figure since vauen is such a quality manufactuer it will probably be worth it in the long run to get the more expensive one.
