sorry, i've been in a snarky mood lately. i guess i will just say that for those of us in ministry (and have been for awhile), it's nothing new. working those kind of days for weeks on end is nothing new. i'm on my 6th year or so of having days and weeks and months like that. though it is nice now not to have to constantly prove myself, and i get a lot of volunteers to do stuff so i can spend more time in actual ministry with youth, not doing other crappy administrative work.

I'm working today. It's my one month anniversary and I have to come to the parish mission instead of spending the evening with my wife. So, while I had a day off, I paid for it.
