I doubt it.

That's what they like. True, Syesha digs her own grave in a way by having people compare her to the best of the best, but I know very few people with the vocal talent that Syesha so obviously has. Most people who try to sing whitney or mariah songs.... butcher them... Syesha sings them, and you can actually tell she has amazing vocal abilities.

Little David... I just love him. :) He's so cute.
Ugh...you are what is wrong with American Idol. Who cares if he's "cute?" The poor kid looks like he is on the verge of a panic attack everytime he's not singing. What happens if he wins? Is he gonna take his "show" on the road? For what? To showcase his AMAZING voice and his lack of stage presence? Come on...you gotta have something besides a dumb grin to win this thing. At least Syesha and a bunch of the other people who've been booted (::cough cough:: CARLY!) have some stage presence.

That being said, you're right. She digs her own grave so I have no sympathy for her.

David Cook, baby. He's the total package!

EDIT: I hope my sarcasm and hyperbole is evident in my first statement. If not...I'M KIDDING!!! Not being a jerk...

I thought Carly had ZERO stage presence and while she had an amazing voice, she was extremely boring. She always looked like she was angry or concentrating way too hard when she sang. Simon said it best one time how its hard to enjoy her performances. Now with her leaving, I was a little disappointed because alot of people should have gone before she did but I was also glad because she was also kind of boring. lol :idontknow:

I hope David Cook wins only because I think he's the only one ready and talented out of the top three to go on and make something big.

David A. is a great singer but looks and acts so young, he looks like of lost up there singing at times. :hehe:

Syesha is okay but has put herself into a little box. :ninja:

I thought that Carly was great. She reminded me of the chick from Evanesence looks-wise. And I think she came into her own the last couple of weeks prior to her being sent home. I will agree that her performances came off as angry in the beginning, but she started having fun as the contest wore on. I thought she was the best one the week she got bounced.

definitely agree with kujo. Can't stand archuleta, and definitely thought carly should've made top 3 maybe 4, along with Michael Johns.

I thought that Michael Johns was a little boring, but enjoyed his music. Definitely a lot better than Jason Castro, that's for sure.

I agree about MJ. Both Carly AND Michael Johns, while good singers, were too boring for me too ever really like them! And it irritated me when I watched them. I wish they would of had been better cause they could have gone alot farther. I am just disappointed in those two because I expected them to be *alot* better than how they did on AI.

Yeah, I think that was one of her major problems aside from being very boring. She never made her singing look enjoyable and effortless. That is the sole reason why Jason made it so far during that time. Although that changed toward the end of his time. :hehe:

Wow...

So, David Cook was incredible. His version of "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" was great, "I Dare You to Move" was solid...heck, he even made that obscure song Simon picked out sound cool. Archuleta's "With You" was...well, put it this way: when he said "boo," I LOLed for real. Other than that, he was good. Syesha was really good in all 3 songs, particularly "Fever," which was, in the words of Randy, "BLAZIN' HOT!!!"

All in all, nothing's changed....the Davids are neck and neck with Syesha most likely bowing out this week, mainly because she's the third best singer on the show. Nothin' wrong with that!

Funny story...I was in orchestra in high school, and, in senior year, my orchestra director arranged "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" for our 100 piece orchestra (including electric guitars, drums, etc.) and asked me to sing it. So, for my final concert in high school, in front of about 300 people, I rocked out...not nearly as dope as David Cook or Steven Tyler, but still decent. There's video somewhere....

Haha. You probably don't. I hadn't had a lick of vocal lessons back then...and I was wearing this ridiculous tuxedo shirt/bow-tie. Mom cried, though.

Yup. Mom cried, best friend's mom cried, friend cried (...now that I think about it, that one may be due to my pitchiness...)....

The judges shouldn't be allowed to express their favoritism, IMO, but I agree that DA did a lot better than DC.
