Justin86
I'm in the military and one of my friends really needed to talk to a chaplain(I'll spare everyone the grizzly details) today and he wanted me to go with him to a Protestant service to act sorta as moral support for him, and I agreed. He's not Catholic and the only chaplain he trusted was his division chaplain(also not Catholic) so its not like I felt like I could steer him towards the Church or anything, but I knew from what he told me last night that he really needed to talk to a chaplain he trusts about this. I didn't really even think about it until after the service, but was it ok for me to go given the situation? There's a Mass later tonight that I'll be going to so I'm not skipping my obligations to the Church or anything.
