Shukran_Allah
Could you please help me digest the following quote about God's presence in Hell or explain it differently? I find this concept very difficult, and any enlightement is appreciated: Father Jose Fortea, the author of Interview with an Exorcist, and an approved exorcist for his diocese of Madrid in Spain, answers the question about God's presence in Hell, saying,
Yes. God is present even in hell. There is no place (or being) in which God is not present. God, the Creator of all things, maintains everything in existence and knows everything from all eternity. So demons are not freed from the presence of God even in hell...
I really appreciate it.
Theoketos
Evil is the privation, or absence of the good or God. Now, there exists nothing which is completely evil, for its mere existence is good in that God created and maintains its existence. This means that even in Hell God still exists as even Hell and its demons were once good, but now fallen. I hope this helps.
