....yeah, I'm a Vikes fan, so I was rooting for the Cowboys, not that it really matters because the Vikings always manage to find a way to choke!

Haha, I'm an Ohio fan too. As much as I'd love a good game, I'm a bit scared that they'll be Tiger food this year. Ah well, Go Buckeyes!

excerpt from ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=sando_mike&id=3174303):
Beware the Redskins.

With a 27-6 victory at home over a Dallas team with nothing to gain, the Redskins secured the NFC's final playoff berth in defiance of convention. The NFL's most resilient team by just about any measure, Washington will open the playoffs Saturday at third-seeded Seattle (NBC, 4:30 p.m. ET).

The Redskins entered Week 17 with five starters on season-ending reserve lists and a sixth, Sean Taylor, having met a tragic demise. Five other teams entered the weekend with more than five starters lost for the season to injury. None earned playoff spots.

The Redskins played the final three weeks without their injured starting quarterback. They won all three games. Jason Campbell is probably done for the season. That's notable, because the five teams with starting quarterbacks on injured reserve missed the playoffs.

Six teams placed two starting offensive linemen on season-ending reserve lists this season, but only one -- Washington, of course -- is heading to the playoffs.
the skins sneeked into the playoffs against a team that rested its star player. that is like saying look at the titans how they beat the colts. the colts rested a number of stars and took the rest of the starters out in the second quater.

If they can do it again in the playoffs I will be more impressed.

I am looking for a repeat of last year. Colts champs

Romo played a fair amount of that game, and they still blew.
Even if it was a "meaningless" game for Dallas, where's the pride? Where's the passion? I mean, these teams are arch-rivals, for crying our loud! Every Skins/Cowboys game is supposed to be an intense battle. No way to go into the play-offs. The momentum is gaining for the Redskins and dying for the Cowboys.
And the 'Skins still played a tight game against Dallas earlier in the season, when they were having more troubles.
If the 'Skins beat Seattle, I think they're going to hand the Cowboys' butts to them!

Every year there's big talk because some mediocre team reels off a couple wins and squeezes into the playoffs. (See Eagles in '06 and Redskins in '05.) And we all know what happened to those teams.
