Theoketos
The word God originated before 900 (AD) and is in both Middle English and Old English. Its roots are shared in the Dutch word God, the German word Gott, the Old Norse word goth, and the Goth word guth. I know all that by reading between the parenthesis in the dictionary. Thank you very much liberal arts education. [Origin: bef. 900; ME, OE; c. D god, G Gott, ON goth, Goth guth]
