the_rev
I think we as a phatmass phamily, should fast, once a week, each week during lent, one day a week to not eat food, and offer it up in prayer for our intentions. Your intentions, and also for the intentions of our Phatmass Phamily. Do you htink we should, vote in the poll! Thanks REV
Iacobus
I agree with the rev. I was thinks maybe the day should be set as a Friday. Friday is already a day of absentice so it is only a small step. However, anyday is a good day for sacrfice for our Lord's will.
morostheos
I think that sounds like an amesome idea REV! Prayer and fasting is what Lent is all about, and since phatmass is going to be all about Lent in a week and a half, that would be perfect! the_rev
Yes, after Lent though, we could continue to fast, but on Wednesdays, because Fridays are the days I go out to eat!

cathgirl
I was gonna post something about fasting, too!! Our Lady of Medugorje said that she would like us to fast on wednesdays and fridays, and if you aren't in good health to do that, give up something you like. (tv, etc.) I love Our Lady!!!!! Give up TV. I think I will do that give up all 1 hour a week I watch it. Okay you might have to forgive me for asking a semi dumb question (I am the only paraticing Catholic in my family so I don't get a lot of education from home) did Our Lady of Medugorje want us to fast on Weds AND Friday. Or is the and a like logical AND short circuiting, a one or the other. I am sorry I am not very well versed in the apprations .
