ardillacid
I knew Dan for awhile, and I'd bet $ to donuts if he is in it, then its ok.
djninja2005
That documentary makes me question a lot of things. I am Catholic and proud of it, but what he is doing is ridicuous. Half the time his stories are just half lies. He is using fear to control those kids. I'm surprised that he hasn't been shut down yet.
dUSt
Well, if they shut down every ministry who takes a unique niche approach that has never been done before, then phatmass would be gone. I'm giving these guys the benefit of the doubt until they start teaching stuff that contradicts the magisterium.

BTW, the reason they were banned from the Diocese of Burlington was because, despite his warnings to the counselor, that he would be bringing a lot of stuff to the surface, the counselor decided not to get other counselors or tell the principal. As a result, what they did shocked many and brought too much up to deal with and they were ill-equipped for the fallout. In the future they should make it mandatory that counselors are there and refuse to lead the retreat until this is done.
Theologian in Training
So, I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but my friend has elected me to help "firm up" Justin and possibly Tim's theology. He seems to think my background with apologetics might be able to help them. Be interesting to see what happens....

Did they make themselves known to their pastor, their Bishop? It's unfortunate that they're working backwards on establishing themselves as a credible ministry.
