In truth, when I am "mushy" I am usually writing something in which I am trying to express the depth and profundity of my love for Matt... Oh and we are unpopular because we are the best battalion in the brigade so everyone else hates us. (Which is funny because I don't think we are that great. I guess everyone else is just really bad). So maybe the opposing force snuck into our "camp site" and got back at us with bodily functions. Nicely done, nicely done.

After my last post yesterday I changed my mind. I think Charlotte did in fact have a tummy bug and a cold. I forget how many times I changed my clothes yesterday, but I can tell you Ive done 3 loads of laundry and I went through no less than 4 of your PT shirts. Since early this morning, though, she has kept everything down so I think we're in the clear.

Last night before they went to bed I slathered the bottoms of the girls feet with Vick's Vapor Rub and put socks on them. Tiffany sent me a forward saying how it works to help beat colds, and since the girls were coughing but don't like it on their chests I figured why not? It can't hurt. They all slept so soundly, none of them woke in the night, there was no coughing all night long. And this morning, the coughs that they do have sound less bad than yesterday. What makes this humorous is that when Tiff sent that forward she had another friend check it on snopes, decide it was a hoax, and started messaging people she'd sent it to to tell them it wasn't true. lol I don't care what snopes said, it worked.

Today we're making banana bread, at Adrienne's request.

Because it burns their chests and they don't like it. But, they can still smell it and get the vapo-action if I put it on their feet. They're short, its not THAT far away. Because of the tougher skin on the bottoms of the feet it doesn't burn, its win-win. Even if [i]some[/i] people think it sounds dumb.
