IcePrincessKRS
Yeah, firefox gave me the same problem I experienced in IE. It is something with "the" network out here. Kate and I are in the same country right now, just different locations. I'm on an "Army camping trip" since I'm supposed to be vague about the details of what we do. My cellphone died on the first day out here and then I was trying to find a way to contact her over the Internet.
Stupid camping trips.
Another update honey. I seem to be the only one in our platoon who can start the pot belly stove. With temperatures dipping towards 0 during the night I'm kind of a big deal out here. People know me. It usually goes something like this, "Get *#!(@*(!! S. over here to start the fire!"
Shock and awe. Isn't that something they're supposed to learn in basic? You're so handy to have around. Not only are you hot but you're useful.
SGT J. just asked me if I'm comfortable with letting people know I love you in a public forum. I said of course. He said it be harder for me to get a divorce in the future. He also said if you ever get taken hostage they'll demand more money. (He's just joking) Sigh... can't win them all. Tell the kids to be good and I love them. I love you too! P.S. hot stuff of course gets a special thanks for bumping this thread. And SMM? or SSM? ok I'm out.
Good thing I don't want a divorce. lol The kids are being pretty good. Unfortunately none of them seems to be feeling very well. Adrienne sounds all stuffed up, Charlotte has a runny nose, and Genevieve was coughing a bit in the night. She also said her tummy hurt. Adrienne told me her tummy hurt 2 days ago, and Charlotte was terribly cranky night before last, but they both seemed to get over it really quickly. Genevieve even feels slightly feverish--but I gave her some Motrin and she's sitting on the couch with blankey and pillow watching Mary Poppins. She seems much perkier than she did last night and earlier this morning. Obviously, we skipped library day. So long as I don't get sick we're all good. lol I love you. Blackthorne
this thread is getting below the halfway point on the front page...
Ha ha! I saw this post on the front page and noticed it was at the top. On the plus side I only have 7 (or 6?) more days out here so I'll let it die down after that. Hopefully we'll all survive through the mushyness until that point in time. I'm sorry to hear the kids are sick. I just hope I don't bring anything home with me. SGT L. is getting over strep throat and I think everyone else is getting the cold I just got over. The good news is we are all sleeping more so that gives us some time to recover. Funny thing about the pot belly stove... Everyone else got a class on how to use it a few days before we left and I skipped it because I had used them roughly one year ago. I'm surpised my memory still served me. I got some more stories for later. I love you!
XIX
I have a very...very... very high threshold for mushiness. Don't push me, or you will regret it. Edited December 6, 2007 by XIX

We're at our halfway point. haha even if you did bring something home, unless its strep, it can't get any worse. Genevieve threw up. I'm not sure if it was because of the upset tummy or from coughing so much.--could be both,I guess. She's napping on the couch right now. Held a rice cake for about 2 hours and took about 2 bites. Poor, poor little darlin'. She looks and sounds so sad. And Adrienne just doesn't get why we can't go to the library and Popeyes for lunch. But she's watching Angelina so its ok. Yeah... today is officially Movie Day. Love you.

Blackthorne
Oh man that is so sad about Genevieve. I was thinking of her last night and how she out smarted me when I tell her to give me five. "Give me 5 up high!" "Tooo sloooow!!!!" Darnit she is so cute. Sigh.... In unrelated news, SPC G. got to go home because his kids got in a medicine cabinet and ate a bunch of pills. (No, I'm not suggesting you pump the kids full of pills so I can come home early). I'm sorry his kids got sick but it must have been nice to go home. From what I heard, the kids are ok, but they had to go down to the hospital in yongson. Fun fun. I'm praying for you and the kids. As long as you don't get sick it shouldn't be too bad. I love you!
IcePrincessKRS
Genevieve took a long nap and seems to be doing a lot better. She's eating a little bit, too, so I think she's on the mend. All 3 of them have taken a dose of Tylenol. Hopefully we'll be all set by tomorrow or Saturday. Seems like everyone is finding an excuse to come home. Marp decided he needed his wisdom teeth out this week. He gets out of everything. lol I am glad G's kids are doing ok, though, thats a scary thing to have happen! I've been working a good bit of the afternoon on photoshopping a picture for my sister. I still have a bit of work to do... blah. Charlotte is bouncing around on my lap growling. lol I love you.
