Dave
From Human Life International In the entire history of the struggle over abortion, seven pro-abortion activists (including three abortionists) have been murdered. This has given rise to a great torrent of grief and fear (most of it staged for the cameras) among pro-abortionists, who have held massive rallies and have written tens of thousands of pages of outraged prose condemning the violence. It has also led to boasting braggarts like abortionist Brian Finkel of Arizona widely publicizing the fact that he carries a pistol and wears a bullet-proof vest for his protection. The United States Department of Justice has even established a National Task Force on Violence Against Health Care Providers, which includes detailed tips on personal security.[44] Just how much danger is an abortionist facing, especially when compared to other professions? The United States Bureau of Labor Statistics gives us the numbers regarding on-the-job fatalities due to assaults and other violent acts;[45] Figure V-2 Murders by Occupation, 1993-2001 Occupation Fatalities Due to Assaults and Other Violent Acts, 1993-2001 Cashiers and sales counter clerks 735 Taxi drivers and chauffeurs 558 Farmers and farm workers 338 Truck drivers 266 Janitors and cleaners 155 Automobile mechanics and apprentices 106 Garage and service station-related occupations 95 Bartenders 78 Lawyers 50 Secretaries 40 Teachers 37 Physicians (non-abortionists) 33 Hairdressers and cosmetologists 20 Registered Nurses 17 Abortionists 3 We can certainly argue that truck drivers are more important than abortionists, since without them our grocery store shelves would be empty. We can argue that mechanics are more important than abortionists, since without them eventually nobody could drive anywhere. We can certainly argue that farmers are more important than abortionists, since without them we wouldn't eat. Yet we seemed to do just fine without legal abortionists for 197 years of our nation's history. As for lawyers, well ... Even being a secretary or a hairdresser is much more dangerous than being an abortionist, but how many secretaries or hairdressers do you see posing for the cameras with bulletproof vests and Glocks? Why are Federal marshals not protecting janitors, taxi drivers and farmers? Why are there no heavily-publicized task forces for them? Because they are not politically connected or politically correct. They are not attached to a liberal cause. And they do not have the millions of dollars that pro-abortionists have to trumpet their propaganda in all of the media organs.

dairygirl4u2c
Liberalism holds no place in logic. "liberalism" is what causes the Church to develop it's docrine. New ideas makes things clearer. "liberalism" isn't wrong, it's illogical "liberalism". Since liberalism can be good, your blanket shun of "liberalism" only indicates your close-minded demeanor and is what is wrong with politics and society today.
