Dismas' Challenge To Czarov Of The Inc

As far as my research has shown, the authority of the InC rests entirely upon poor interpretations of a mere sixteen verses, outside of context, in the midst of the whole Bible.

As I have thoroughly defended the case for the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church against the accusations of Czarov of the InC, I expect no less in proportion and detail supporting the claims of the InC against my own accusations.

There shall be a number of following posts in this thread as my time permits, each refuting the claim InC holds on each of the verses.

I am patient, and am willing to wait some time in getting a reply.

1.) In Acts 20:28, InC demands that Paul speech reveals the name of the True Church as the "Church of Christ"; this is viewed as a necessary proof, much like a trademark by InC. Paul however, does not declare definitavely that the name is a proof of authenticity, rather he is clarifying the word "ekklesia" to refer to the Church, and not a random assembly.

Furthermore, the verse states "Church of God", or "Church of the Lord and God" in the M-text, in the original language, not "Church of Christ". If the verse of Acts 20:28 is a proof of "brand name" of the True Faith, then both the InC and the Catholic Church are equally wrong, and any one of the "Assembly of God" churches is the True faith by virtue of having the most accurate brand name.

Worse, if the name "Church of God" stands, then the scripture continues that it is God who purchased our salvation with His blood, thereby refuting the InC's claims that Jesus was not Divine.

If that wasn't enough, InC is not the first to take the name "Church of Christ". In fact, that honor goes to the Church of Christ, established in 1836 in the US.

I submit to Czarov to credibly and substantially prove:
- that the verse (Acts 20:28) was in fact a declaration of "brand name".
- that the verse does, in fact, state "Church of Christ" and not "Church of God" or "Church of the Lord and God" in the original Greek.
- that InC has sole right to the title "Church of Christ", and refuting the brand names of the "Church of Christ", "Church of God in Christ", and "Assembly of God".
