Ziggamafu
My daughter has a broken thigh. The immediate response of the doctors (legal obligation) was to call Child Protective Services and the police. Only afterwards did they come to understand (from a series of x-rays) that my daughter has a serious bone deficiency, causing her bones to be very brittle. Many fractures throughout her body have gone unnoticed in our many trips to the doctors since her birth (she was premature and is only four months old now). They did a bunch of tests and the results are supposed to be in by Thursday to indicate just what form of bone disease she has...in the meantime, Child Protective Services cannot close the case until the doctors reach a formal diagnosis, determining what disease she has. Please, please, please pray: * That the disease is temporary (like a vitamin deficiency) and treatable * That the results come in with extraordinary speed * That the established fact that a disease exists causes the case against us to be closed (we can't be alone with either of our children until then!) Thank you for your prayers during this trying time, Pham.
