Those are two very different things I would say.
True. The poll's vague on this. I guess I'm thinking if you met a bunch of guys at a bar or social event, which ones would you have an interest in dating? Socrates
Keep it coming, ladies! These results are actually very interesting. I'll say more about this later. Stay tuned . . .
Mari Therese
holiness/spiritualiy is an attraction for me. If I date a guy, I want him to understand where I'm coming from as a Catholic. I also want a person who will help support me in my efforts for holiness. Unfortunately, most of the guys that I meet with this quality are discerning the priesthood...lol. I am not a attracted to smooth talkers. In my experience they are usually too good to be true, and they don't last in a long term relationship. uruviel
First things first, and that would be his morals. Then, respect. To me, those around him, and his own self respect. Next would probably be intellect, knowledge and understanding, spiritual maturity. Someone who is willing to learn, and would be willing to grow everyday with me. And of course the basic virtues of humility, patience, loyalty, honesty, etc... Arrogance is intolerable. Or what you call a 'smooth talker/charm' kinda guy. Those people really get on my nerves. Not someone who isn't sensitive towards others or me, but not someone who is over-bearing or isn't willing to trust me. He has to help maintain a relationship, and support it with our faith. I don't really have that many expectations for guys that I meet, except morals and stability. But I fancy to think I know what I'm talking about when I say I like or dislike things in a guy. CrossCuT
All of these qualities are desirable.... I did vote on one...but it defiantly ISNT one of the popular ones... AND EVEN WITH THAT I CANT MAKE UP MY MIND! I am constantly having a conflict between what attracts me most (which is what the poll asked) and what I WANT most in a guy.... So I made up two rankings…one of What attracts me most, and one of what I want most. But you then wonder how they could be so different? I don’t know…IM DONE! > But I added Good Morals because you can have no religion but still have good morals. < DONE FOR REAL NOW! What Attracts me: Humorous/ Funny/ Clever Rebel/ “bad boy” (In a good sense ) Charm Gentleness Physical courage Intelligence Power/ Authority Good Morals Holiness Political/ philosophic compatibility Good Looks Athleticism Money Popularity What I want: Good Morals Holiness Humorous/ Funny/ Clever Intelligence Power/ Authority Gentleness Physical courage Charm Rebel/ “bad boy” Political/ philosophic compatibility Good Looks Athleticism Money Popularity
Brigid
so I totally thought I was the only one that has a thing for voices... I guess I'm not alone. I love deep voices. especially singing voices. I LOVE it when guys sing... *sigh*

I guess I'm thinking if you met a bunch of guys at a bar or social event, which ones would you have an interest in dating?
Much easier to think about that way...let's see.... I would say holiness, confidence, kindness, and humor are most attractive, in that order. Of course, if someone has the first one but none of the others, there's a good chance I wouldn't be attracted to them for that reason alone. Lena
The limp handshake is annoying. I was offered the "fingers-only" handshake once by some guy and was really put-off.
