Christian Behavior?

So there has been this increasing issue of "Christian behavior" shoved in my face on phatmass.
It seems that I have been saying/ doing some unchristian-like things that deserve special attention with harsh words from "holier than thou" speakers.
I admit that I am not perfect and I make mistakes, but it seems that whenever I say something like that, its an instant "Wow, youre a terrible christian" and everyone stands to applaud.

But whenever I have stood against something I felt was unchristian in another person, I have been beat down the same way, only this time its "Dont you know Claire? Its just the way things are.", "Its funny."

SO WHAT IS CHRISTIAN ATTITUDE?
Its ok to have it sometime but not ALL the time?
Or is being unchristian ok when your friends are there to laugh with you?
Its ok to be unchristian because the person just doesnt have "kind" qualities?

:idontknow:
Will you give me sarcasm now?

I don't recall a time when you've been 'un-Christian'. We all say things that could be said in a 'softer' way-we're human after all. You're fine the way you are imo.

So what are the conditions of Christian Behavior?
Does it have an on and off switch?
Is it ok to be off in certain situations?

Sometimes people need a dose of reality. We are not perfect and things we mean to say comes out in a behavior that we don't mean.

I'm unaware of any "unChristian" accusations that may have been logged at you, but the short answer of what is Christian behavior is to "proclaim the truth with love". It's sometimes a fine line, especially when emotions run high on certain issues (I sometimes get caught up in it myself and find myself needing to reread my post before submitting) or when sometimes the love that is needed is "tough love".

But what if your personality and how you relate to others doesnt work that way?
What if you do not relate to others lovingly very well? Are you excused becaues its just who you are?

You mean the former Buffalo Sabres player who now plays for the Islanders?

We shouldn't use the excuse 'it's who I am' because we are all called to grow beyond 'who we are naturally'. If no one changed who they were, there would be no Saints. 'To live is to change and to be perfect is to have changed often'!

It depends on what can be worked on and improved.
