"Mistletoe," is good and definitely suits her style, but I wish it were a bit more upbeat. It is actually a pretty depressing Christmas song, and, I believe, we have one too many of those as it is.

i agree. the song itself is good and very Colbie-esque which i like. but we don't really need more sad Christmas songs.
Yeah I like her, sunny California feel good surf and beach music. Its a breath of fresh air
totally agreed :)
did u ever see her (the second time) ??
yes and she was awesome. it is actually really cool to watch her play live. i have watched MANY bands perform live in my day...many of the bands i listen to are very good performers and seem like they live for the LIVE show. colbie however, seems to still have stage fright (pretty badly actually) but its kinda cute. the song "one fine wire" on her album is actually about stage fright. i never see music people that are as big a deal as her that seem genuinely scared to be up there. so i know it takes a lot for her to do it and that just makes her even more awesome. but that voice...it is absolutely amazing live. she is the real deal...she can sing :)

BTW, meant to tell you, if you like Colbie, you might also check out Tristan Prettyman, she has the same laid back, guitar style, coffeehouse feel to her as well. Definitely an unrecognized artist :)
