Aloysius
bump. um... i'm gettin some strange stuff searchin. it says principalities and powers and virtues are hostile to God and men... then why does St. Michael want us to pray to them? Aloysius
http://www.catholic.org/saints/anglchoi.shtml Powers Powers are Warrior Angels against evil defending the cosmos and humans. They are known as potentates. They fight against evil spirits who attempt to wreak chaos through human beings. The chief is said to be either Samael or Camael, both angels of darkness. bold added. whats going on? Edited February 12, 2004 by Aloysius
hyperdulia again
some principalities and powers are hostile to men..they chose satan during the war with God. Saint Michael is obviously speaking of those who stayed loyal. I've never heard of hostile Virtues.
hyperdulia again
These are also the "gods" spoken of in the OT...the evil angels given charge over the pagan nations.
Aloysius
thanx hyper! aight, i got everything done except i wanna get some background music and maybe pics of each specific choir if someone can find em for me.. cimlog you on that? i think the things i used for princepalities and stuff is a bit cheap compared to the rich scripture i have for the more recognizable ones, seraphim, cherubim, and the like. but it might provide a lil insight to the pray-er as to who this choir of angels is. anyway, as soon as i'm done i'm gonna figure out the best way to send it out to all my fans out there prolly e-mail or somethin, i donno how big it's gonna be.
