Oh, yes! My uncle owns a ranch and he and his cowboy friends were NOT impressed. And let's just say, they make no secret of how they feel about things...

I've seen it, and I'm Catholic. Not that my having seen it means that my stamp of approval is on it -- I just see everything that comes out (no pun intended).

NOthing like a story on homosexuals teaching each other infidelity towards their wives (or so I hear, haven't seen it. I was told one of thecowboys was cheating on his wife with his gay lover - but I'm certain a real life circumstance ilke this is obviously the fault of society and not the gay man that does the cheating).

Yeah, don't see the point of this poll either. Please enlighten if you know.

I did not see the movie.* I am not Catholic. I am not in favor of homosexual acts. I heard they were sheep herders more than cowboys.

*I did see a few clips of Strangers with Candy which has some less pornographic? gayness.

Well actually, they were sheepboys rather than cowboys. REAL cowboys would never identify themselves with sheepboys nor suffer themselves to be associated with them.

My wife and I started to watch only for the purpose of being able to comment intelligently on it. However, the very first "love" scene was so disgusting we turned it off. I never cared for rape scenes in movies regardless of the sexes involved.

Saint Therese

I saw it and I did not think it was a well-made movie. Also, I thought it was propoganda.
As for being able to like the movie while being a "good" Catholic, why not? "Good" Catholics watch many other movies that are contrary to or offensive to our Faith.
