Father's Death

My father died Thursday, September 27, 2007 AD at about 5:55 AM (CST) after a long battle with lung cancer. He did receive the last rites as far as I am aware ([i]not in the final hours[/i]) and we were there in the care unit until he passed. He wanted to fight till the end and his resting pose is one of looking straight forward and still trying for a breath of air. We are uncertain of how alert or aware he was in the final hours but we remained there with him.

Now in memory and concern for my father I request any helpful prayers for the repose of his soul and the speedy journey through purgation if it be necessary.
