Hi guys

Just being curious, I have heard that Benny Hinn is a very "Catholic" Protestant; is this true? What you guys(especially our Protestant brothers and sisters  ) think of Mr. Hinn?

I think this comes from the claims by other Protestants that Mr. Hinn is Jesuit plant in the Pentecostal movement to bring them in communion with the Rome. It sounds too much like an episode of the X-Files to me.

hyperdulia again

he's ex-orthodox. and i think i read somewhere here that he'd been ordained as an eo priest...which is creepy, because that means no matter how schismatic/heretical he gets, he can still offer the sacrifice.

His daughter said something on tbn..talking about the unity of all christianns...she mentioned her devout eastern orthodox grandparents and how catholics and eo don't worship the images in their churches...and how the bible doesn't say you can't ask christians in heaven for prayer, especially the Blessed Mother of Jesus.

An ex-Orthodox? I read once that he's an ex-Catholic. So which one of us is correct?

It's really hard to tell, there is so much out there on the 'net about him, with a lot of it conflicting. From what I can tell, he was raised Orthodox but went to a Catholic School in Israel.

He is a false prophet. Non-Catholics recognize this.

Amen. This guys has very wierd teachings on the Trinity. His style of dress also annoys me. I hear he has a few mansions too.

Someone seems to have forgotten that it's impossible to serve both God and mammon. ;)

Aloysius-

He's really only a "hologram". he-heh-heh!

Guys, my parents still believe in this manipulative "shuyster". I never liked the guy even when I was Protestant and used to follow the likes of Kenneth Copeland who has backed up Benny Hinn at times. Anyone with hair like that is bizarre and a little off-beat in my book. As silly as it sounds, any man with that kind of "fluffy" extravagant comb-over speaks volumnes.......V-A-N-I-T-Y!

Sorry to sound so superficial, but sometimes you CAN tell a book by its cover. I only say the above because even though skeptical due to his appearance, when he spoke, he backed up my views of him and I tried, I really TRIED to be fair. So, many will accuse me of bias but just follow his teachings and where he goes on the trinity and the whole "women were originally created to give birth out of their sides" sort of teachings and you'll see why I believe the image fit the reality. - Muschi

I know about all his false-teachings on the Trinity, etc. but I use to really like listening to him on T.V. He has a God-given talent to preach and move the masses and help people turn their lives around, so i pray he does a personal turn-around and uses his talents the right way. I don't really have any hatred or disgust for him, because I really think he believes what he is talking about, and folks in that state-of-mind can't be reasoned with and they need prayers more than anything.
