I joined September 22, 2005, when I was almost 15 years old. I remember it was the day before I went on a Youth 2000 retreat. Phatmass had that brownish look back then.

I remember when everyone was talking about their memories and devotion to John-Paul the Great and how he touchecd us all.
I had joined shortly after his passing.




And I still miss the papa, even though I love Papa Ben XVI and I think he's awesome and all that, but I still miss the papa.

And I never changed my avatar!

I joined during my Senior year of High School so I am well approaching my 5 year anniversary here. I remember working with some amazing people here learning more about my faith and learning that I wasn't alone in some of my struggles as a Catholic. I remember the FBC, the Resistance, my partner was Pax but I never talked to them but they still get lifted up into my prayers. I also remember those that found special gifts in me that I never knew I had.

Thank you to them.

I also remember the debate that me ending most of my posts as I do. Some people just said I should post it in my signature. I never wanted that and felt that it would be less heartfelt. I miss friends that have come and gone, and even though I come and go, I think Phatmass will always be a refuge to me.

I joined the summer after my real senior year, while I still had 1 class left at college, and I had no job... lots of spare time on my poor college kid hands.

I remember when our avatars were long and squished at the bottom of our posts, like signatures.

That made for a lot of sweet designs. I miss that!

Hey, remember when I was Queen of the Lameboard? :D Remember when Iceyp was pregnant and we all posted pictures of food to torture her? When Panic was still posting here (miss her ) ? When Deb still posted? Sigh. So many memories. When Phatmass had a avatar type chatroom (can't remember the name) and we would all go in and make our own rooms and chill? tin[b]yc[/b]hat? (oy vey, maybe not that lol). Justintv when d[b]u[/b]st would broadcast? The old philters?
