Carmelitess
I tried looking on www.ocd.pcn.net for active Carmelite communities, but the list on that site didn't specify whether they were active or cloistered. I was wondering if anybody could tell me of some communities. Oh, and btw, it doesn't matter if the communities aren't in the U.S. Thank you so much!! God bless, Margaret

Here are some other active Carmelites: Carmelite Sisters of the Eucharist--they have no website, but are listed on the Institute for Religious Life website. They seem to be an extremely small community. There are 8 Sisters here, 4 of which who teach at my school and 4 who teach at an elementary school. Their most recent website was http://carmelitegeneralate.homestead.com/ but it's been disabled. I dont know why, but maybe it'll be back up again soon. I love 'em. Edited September 11, 2007 by salterrae

It was kind of all of you to look for me, though, when I was searching for communities.
