Old_Joe
Perhaps they should have a priest on-board to hear confessions, say mid-air Mass, and give Last Rites in case of a crash landing.

Regulations like this are only in place to make the public feel safe.
I work for Homeland Security. I have trained some of the security people at the airport so I have the opportunity to see the intelligence brifings from the NSA, ATF, FBI, Interpol, and agencies all over the world. Almost daily we get postings showing where there have been actual attempts to evade security. The public may not like the policies that we have in place but they are there to MAKE travel safe. As the technology we have increases the more we will be able to relax some of the regulations, but until then obey the policies or don't fly. Mercy me
Couldn't you just put your Lourdes water in checked luggage?
You can always put it in your checked luggage. You just have to be prepared that when you get where you are going you might have blessed and wet clothes. When I travel it is so sad to see luggage on the baggage carousel that is leaking wine. The best solution would be to go to Lourdes, get the Holy Water, and just remember to put it in your luggage.
Noel's angel
Everyone drinks Lourdes water. One of our priests took 6 litres of it on the plane home one year.
