So, I am in the process of unpacking from moving back to school today. If any one has any extra prayers that they need to use up, I wouldn't mind having them prayer for me. Today has been rough. I didn't really want to come back in the first place, because I had a great summer and I met a lot of great people that I'm going to miss. Well, then on Saturday, my Grandpa had to go to the hospital, because his heart is acting up. I left on Sunday (spent yesterday at a friends house for one last day of fun with a few friends before we headed back to school), and I had a great day yesterday, but then, today found out that my Grandpa is going to be alright, but he has to be in the hospital for another few days, and the hospital messed up his meds. Then, we get a phone call from one of our roommates that she has just arrived to move in and matinence is in the room cleaning it up, because someone was living here, in our apartment, without permission or anyone knowing about it. They got it all cleaned up, but none of us are any too pleased about that fact...for one thing, they assured us that they have all the keys, so he didn't steal a key, but um, what about having copies made? It's not like its that hard...we're thinking we're going to ask about having the lock changed, because it kind of worries us all. Then, when we did get here, we went to the bookstore and they didn't have my books like they were supposed to, so I start classes tomorrow with no books. I finally get all my stuff moved in (and do I have a lot!!). I found out that not only do I not have any cell reception in my room (I didn't really figure I would), my landline phone doesn't work, either and I have no idea why. I also don't really want to have to deal with the people in my major...I can't stand most of them. It's mostly one big clique of people who are not the sort I care to hang out with. Right now, if I could, I'd be packing back up and driving home. I REALLY do NOT want to be here. And the one thing that always made everything else better was my workstudy job...which I didn't get this year. As I said, if you need someone to pray for, I'd be more than willing to be that person. Thanks.

Wow, college is hard enough when you want to be there. Get your locks changed just for your own piece of mind. I spent 3 years in a similar situation, and it wasn't easy. Is there someway that you can transfer to another school that you might fit better at? If you need to stay where you are, try to find some people that you can hang out with. I always started at church or the Newman Center on campus. I'll certainly include you in my prayers.

Thanks, and thanks, and I'm sorry about the breaks. I actually thought of that while I was typing...and I usually try (like I did on the Roamin and MissScripture thread...). I just didn't think it'd get that long...and I never really know where to put the breaks.

Guess who's brilliant? I forgot to grab notebooks from home. Looks like I'll just be using looseleaf and a binder.

We have the knife drawer on top in the kitchen. It's full of knives. Lots of knives. Sharp knives.
