Lil Red
not just for its pornographic nature, but also for the fact that when i'm up at all hours of the night and flipping through channels, i seem to pass by it on at least one channel. and never mind the fact that usually as i'm flipping over it, it's on a nasty part *grits teeth* and also for the fact that i've found it on at 5 or 6 a.m. when there could be children up and watching tv!! that is all /rant

Didymus
it's b.c.... complete and utter b.c. it degrades our women... and it emasculates our men...
Totus Tuus
I don't know what that show is (every day I have a new reason to be happy I don't have tv). Judging by the title of the show and the fact that there are "nasty parts", Lil' Red, you should call your provider just to let them know you don't like that show and that you think they should get rid of it My comment is that children should not be watching tv at 5 or 6 in the morning. That's no way to start off a kid's day.

Most of the shows they advertise for most Catholics shouldn't be watching anyway.
Aloysius
they have continuous info-mercials on at night. but either way, it's not so much what show they advertise for, it's more what time it's being advertised.

The sleep deprived parent hopes for PBS to start their children's broadcast hours at 5... but alas, they don't. I've come downstairs to my kids watching BBC World News... (and they know that's the title...) But we don't have more than basic cable...

If the kiddos wake up too early, they get a nice overview of the day's events.

They have the same show, except on at different times.

Now, add to that all the commercials for "enhancement" (think of that stupid whistling "This is Bob...") that are on even during daytime TV - I can't even watch Star Trek reruns on days off without being bombarded left and right.
