I can teach you how to say, "The furious swan," and, "The dog is in the gutter," if you like. Along with a few miscellaneous words that will no doubt come in very handy.

I live... well, since I can't ride my bicycle anymore, it became a bit longer... 35 minutes away from Amsterdam Airport. (So I live 5 hours from Rome :D ).

But I know you won't come and live here... *snif* You'll have all your Catholic babies in the States, instead of single-handedly doubling the amount of Catholics here.

Alright, since people have been asking how this started between us, here's the story. (At least this is my side of the story, he may want to add his perspective...even though this is really long, already. I tried to be as brief as possible, but that's not my strong point)
It all started with this thread:
http://www.phatmass.com/phorum/index.php?s...t&p=1248411

Roamin' was bored and I honestly have no idea why I decided to, but I gave him my screen name for AIM, so he'd have someone to talk to. I think it was because I was somewhat bored myself, given that I had just finished a paper (during which I'd been banned from PM by a certain un-named individual, so I'd actually finish the paper). Roamin' had joined just before I left to work on the paper, and I hadn't talked to him before leaving, really. But I pmed him my screen name and we started talking that night. We started talking regularly and started chasing eachother around the Lame Board (like, as literally as you can get in cyberspace...he was threatening to throw me in a lake and so we were pretty continuously chasing eachother around).

Finally, in the Prom thread on the Lame Board, Ora et Labora was the first to take note of what might possibly be happening http://www.phatmass.com/phorum/index.php?s...t&p=1273385
and again, on the same thread a few pages later: http://www.phatmass.com/phorum/index.php?s...t&p=1273674
...Although we denied it at the time. We were talking pretty much every day for hours on end (this might not so much have been due to interest in eachother as due to the fact that neither one of us did much aside from hang out on the internet.) I, at least, did not usually realize how much time passed when I was talking to him. I'd start talking to him at like 8 p.m. and look at the clock a bit later and it would be 11:30 p.m. or some ridiculously late hour. There were a few other times people mentioned things about the two of us liking eachother, but we just ignored it. Both of us were telling ourselves we were interested in other people, which didn't really help matters.

On my birthday (May 21), he started two threads for me, wishing me a happy birthday (one in Lame Board, one in Open Mic) and stayed up until midnight, my time, to say happy birthday first. Hmm...should I have maybe picked up on something there? Probably. Did I? Not so much. Should I have picked up on the 1,001 other indications? Probably. Did I? Not so much. If you look back at any threads on the Lame Board from that span of time, if one of us posted on there, so did the other. If we started posting, it not only got off topic instantly, it went for pages of just us, or no attention was paid to any post that was made between ours.

Finally, mid-June, I finally went "Hmm...is there something to this?" And by the end of June, after a loooooong time of trying to battle things out with myself, and a long talk with God, several nightmares (I get nightmares when I get stressed) and a minor nervous breakdown (and with a good deal of coaxing and threatening on the part of the same un-named individual who banned me from PM to do my paper) I finally brought myself to the reality that, if I ever wanted to sleep again, I'd have to say something. So I did. And I'm really, really, really glad. I once again didn't sleep, but it was such a hyper no sleep that I didn't need to sleep. And the rest is kind of history...

Originally, he was supposed to come up to MN in September, and I would've had to skip a day of school to see him, but then plans changed and he wasn't going to be in MN, then. So, it was decided he would come visit in the time between his summer classes and school, when I was actually around (which was the 3 days he was here). And I am SO glad he did come! Now, I just can't wait for him to visit again!

FTW!
