I have also heard good things about "Three to get married" by Fulton Sheen, but again have not read it (as I am not at the moment in the marriage business.)

Changes are, he's Anglican. Maybe the reason nobody will hear is because his congregation became Catholic. That would make me happy.

I'm assuming you've already read/thought of Theology of the Body-related books (Good News about Sex and Marriage, etc.)

Figured you were cool like that.

I used a book on St. Augustine and marriage for a source on a paper recently. It's older, but good, and as someone interested in theology you might like it:
Hugo, John J., St. Augustine on Nature, Sex, and Marriage (Chicago: Scepter, 1969)

I didn't buy the book, but found it online for $40 or so. Gotta wait for that to fit in my budget.

seriously, privledge of being a woman is one of the best books ever. its got these great marian things going on, and really confronts modern "feminist" theories about females and feminity in straightforward, yet profound ways.

its one of those great books that's good to go back and re-read regularly because you always get something out of it (like screwtape letters. does anyone else do that? :idontknow:)

anyways, i'm all over that book like white on rice, and you should be too :P

i didn't know she had another one, i'm gonna check it out!

I'm not married, but I've read it, and found it jolly good.
