Awww! Aren't we cute!

Just don't call me hun. That's all I ask. That term of "endearment" has been forever tainted for me ...

It was used by someone who used it too flippantly.

Aww...that's a shame.

If it's any consolation, Jennie calls everyone "babe" and so when she calls me that, it just doesn't have the greatest effect.

I actually like it best when she calls me by my name.

Ha!

No, by someone I thought was a friend, but who turned out to be anything but.

Eh, these things happen. It's past now, but that term still grates on me when I hear it because of the association.

Pookie, however, is a perfectly good nickname.

It's funny how Pookie and Pumpkin got in there together....my boss and I call each other that. More used too...she got married.

I love the names.

BTW, did you see the Garfield when he was sleeping with Pookie and had a big smile and Jon said, "I wonder what kind of grandiose dream Garfield is having."
Then it showed his dream in which he was being held by a giant Pookie. Twas cute.

Aww!

Pookie was always my favorite Garfield character (if you can call Pookie a character) ... I used to love Garfield when I was a kid, and my grandparents live not far from Jim Davis so there are such great associations with it. I called my teddy bear Pookie when I was a kid :hehehe:
