foundsheep
To me the way I dress to mass is respectful because it's my best clothing Exactly.
Im4Him
I dress decently for mass. I try to wear a skirt (if I have one clean) or a nice pair of pantaloons. For example, last Sunday I wore a long black skirt, black turtle neck and a long gray sweater unbuttoned over top. It bugs me when girls wear really revealing clothing to Mass. traichuoi
i always dress my best for mass...ALWAYS. it's all because of my mom...she never let us wear normal clothes to mass when we were growing up. so now i wear what i won't normally wear to hang out or normal day to day stuff...i wear something extra-ordinary... Confessionator741
i attend a teen mass on sat nights, and while i am dressed appropriatly... its a teen mass, and of course, theres bound to be teens. It is sad to see that many kids wearing things my mother would approve of let alone to wear it to church. just because we are at t teen mass, doesnt mean we have to act like teens, or act like teens today act. i think that there is a time and place for certain things and a time a place for certain things to def not be. cathgirl
It bugs me when people wear their coats in church. We don't usually keep them on when we go to friends' houses, why wear them at church. If you get cold easily, buy warmer shirts!!
Carrie
What's wrong with wearing your coat?

It's a lot easier to concentrate on mass when you aren't shivering like crazy.

Choosing shirts that won't show sweat-patches under the arms is like a pre-Mass challenge to me!
Tom
an alb <g>...I'm duty MC one week in two. When I'm not serving, I go for smart casual, except on Sundays when we wear suit and tie. I think it makes a powerful reminder of the specialness of Sundays.

Sojourner
I typically wear business casual level clothing. Not usually a skirt, esp. this time of year.

Guest cclayton01
I once thought nothing of it, put on what ever I wanted to. I turned around. Do you dress up for special parties? Well Mass is one of the best special parties there could be. It's a party with God. So show respect, if you can that is. Some are not fortunate enough to do so and it is fine I'm sure. I think God understands. God knows all.
