Its funny how many of these songs I have never heard. Edited August 11, 2007 by abercius24

hoosieranna
Cool. Now even more people know what a dork I am. Don't care! I liked Brother Theo.
BG45
I'm the dork that just thought "Passing through Gethsemane" and double checked to see that was the episode title. I loved the episode where Brother Theo has all the other religious leaders on the station, "Please tell me it will be a quiet dignified service..." "Come Theo, we must MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE!" "Your singing is not a joyful noise..."

Totus Tuus
"Mood Rings" by Relient K. End of story. We all know the girls that i am talking about Well they are time bombs and they are ticking And the only question's when they'll blow up And they'll blow up We know that without a doubt Cause they're those girls, Yeah, you know those girls that let their emotions get the best of them And i've contrived some sort of a plan to help my fellow man Let's get emotional girls to all wear mood rings So we'll be tipped off to when they're ticked off Cause we'll know just what they're thinking, just what they're thinking She's so pretty but she doesn't always act that way Her moods are swinging on the swing set almost everyday She said to me that she's so happy its depressing And all I said was someone get that girl a mood ring If its drama you want then look no further They're like "The Real World" meets "Boy Meets World" meets "Days of Our Lives" And it just kills me how they get away with murder They'll anger you then bat their eyes Those pretty eyes that watch you sympathize And i've contrived some sort of a plan to help my fellow man Let's get emotional girls to all wear mood rings So we'll be tipped off to when they're ticked off Cause we'll know just what they're thinking, just what they're thinking She's so pretty but she doesn't always act that way Her moods are swinging on the swing set almost everyday She said to me that she's so stressed out that it's soothing And all I said was someone get that girl a mood ring Cause when it's black it means watch you back because you're probably the last person in the world right now she wants to see and when it's blue it means that you should call her up immediately and ask her out because she'll most likely agree and when it's green, it simply means that she is really stressed and when it's clear, it means she's completely emotionless (and that's alright, i must confess) We all know the girls that I am talking about She liked you wednesday, but now it's friday and she has to wash her hair and it just figures that we'll never figure them out first she's Jekyll, then she's Hyde... at least she makes a lovely pair mood ring, oh, mood ring oh, tell me, will you bring the key to unlock this mystery of girls and their emotions play it back in slow motion so i may understand the complex infrastructure known as the female mind Edited August 11, 2007 by Totus Tuus
TheOliverOrder88
Hmmm... lets try to encompase a very complex and intricate mind/soul by the very limited body of mere five songs... C-Minor by mewithoutYou Best line of all time "I've been technically a virgin for over 27 years, which that's never bothered me before... so whats maybe 50 more." A Beautiful Collision by David Crowder Band Sums of the Mass/Eucharist for me Session by Linkin Park Strange that an instrumental makes it on the list. I don't know what about this song, makes it work... Memphis Will Be Laid to Waste by Norma Jean This tries to encompass why I like hardcore/metal so much. The pure rage direct towards the passion that I have somewhere in me. The line "Christ is not a fashion, fleeting away" seals the deal for me. I think "Surprise" by Jars of Clay will be my ender. Nice, somewhat melancholy but hopeful. Honorable mentions: "Colony of Birchmen" by Mastodon "Sad Clown" by Jars of Clay "Anti-Christ Television Blues" by Arcade Fire
frozencell
It has just occurred to me that in order to be a good lil' Phatmasser and back up my thread I am going to have to spend a fortune on ITunes on a ton of songs I've never heard made by bands I had no idea existed just to get to know my "Phat Phriends" better. Hahahahahahahahahaha.......... Edited August 11, 2007 by frozencell
