The Hair On My Head

I know I look really gung-ho on this thread,, but I wanted to share two more things reeeaaaal quick:

First, this is how much I use for my whole head (thats why I keep it in the fridge, it lasts me over a month), if I really need to on a particularly frizzy day I get a little more after I've made the first application. I don't rub it into my hair, I rub my fingertips together so I have it on both hands and then I smooth it over my hair and tousle it (using just my fingertips), then sometimes I give it a few scrunches. (And I forgot to mention, the orange oil makes this cream smell FABULOUS, and you can swap it out for other essential oils if you prefer the scent of something else. Orange is fairly inexpensive, comparatively, so its a good choice since the recipe calls for a full teaspoon of it.)

And this is the end result: Totally rockin' the hair goo. :) (And homemade lip balm, too. lol You're right Hughey, I'm just like that. But I'm allergic to commercial lip balms [I must be the only person in the world who gets a rash from Chapstick].)

Oh, and don't be surprised if over time a few drops of the rosewater begins to separate from the oils. It happens. I just pour it off as it builds up and put it in my hair when I style it. :)
Since we're talking about hair, Hughey, do you remember when I did this? when I had my SIL cut my hair I still had damage from when I did that!
Yes. :D: Yes, I do.
I only brush my hair when its sopping wet just out of the shower--sometimes I don't but usually I have to. Then I tousle it with my hair goo and let it air dry (NEVER blow dry... I think that verges on sacrilegious with my curly hair)
Same here. And I only blow dry if I'm straightening afterward. ;) Although, I still want to try a diffuser.
I do that, except I only use my hands in the shower. I especially have to when I'm in my post-partum shed, like I am now. I get out so much hair its disgusting.
Well, I don't always use a brush/comb in the shower, I just prefer to when I can. It makes me feel better about the even distribution.. and I also usually use it when I'm rinsing out the conditioner so that i dont necessarily need to comb it after getting out.

I'm sold. And since I'm off from work today.. I might as well attempt to make this stuff for myself! ^_^

 Maybe not the only, but probably one of only a handful.
Good thing you're into making your own stuff! :)

Pretty much. Sometimes I'll use just a lil' more than that, but I try to keep it minimal, at least with the first tousle because I don't want to over do it. With longer hair you'll probably have to use a bit more than I do.

Good luck! Its really quite easy, so you shouldn't have any problems. :)

I really hope you guys love it as much as I do. I know not all products work for everyone, but this stuff... I will never turn back. lol I just think its amazing. I also have faith in it because my SIL who gave me the recipe uses it herself (she uses it on her face, too, its multi-purpose lol) and she's got really straight hair, totally different than mine in every way.

I should skip a day and take a picture to show you how my hair looks when I don't put any in (probably not tomorrow because we have to go out in the afternoon [unless I do it in the morning], and not Sunday because I'm not showing up to God's house looking like a crazy lady... maybe Monday if I don't forget!).
