Yeah, I did some online gender prediction quiz, and it told me that I have a 50% chance of having a boy.

As for names, we have a long list that we need to start narrowing down. Some on the list for boys are: Ezra, Owen, Raphael, John Mark, Raymond. For girls: Isabella, Rosalind/Rosalina (can't decide which), Phoebe, Freya (great since my cousin just had a boy named Leif). And lots more. :)

I got to hear the heartbeat today! I mean, they checked it at the ultrasound, but didn't let me hear it. But everything is still going well. The baby started kicking a lot right after listening to the heartbeat, too. :)

:D it's a wonderfu feeling, isn't it? hearing the heartbeat makes the baby even more real. i mean, we all know it's a baby, but hearing the heartbeat just makes the fact concrete in your mind :) at least, that's the way it was with me :)

Nice names. Did you know that Raphael is my other grandfathers name?

my cousin named her girl 'freya' specifically because it means 'goddess of love' or some carp like that. it reminds me of a freeway exit in Spokane.

i love the name 'ezra' but i don't think my hubby would ever go for it

That's actually one of the reasons I picked it. I don't know your grandfather all that well, but I don't know that I would have thought of it otherwise.

With 'Freya', I was joking with my husband because I love Norse myth, and because of a new cousin named Leif - I thought they went together. ;)

Ezra is my top boy name, but I'm having a hard time convincing my husband that he also likes it. Mainly because I was calling the baby 'Ezra James Sharkington' for a little while (I've since stopped :) )
