Waiting to hear the reports. I really want an I phone since I can't synch my current phone with my computer. The iphone really looks amazing. I have heard that they are going to dramatically expand its functionality
I think it would be a bad idea for anyone to have a wireless provider that is run by satan
What do you have against hockey players running wireless providers?

Anyway, I signed up fro the corporate account back when Cingular was Cellular One. Coverage is for the most part good, except in my office, where I need to be by a window to place an outgoing call (I seem to get incoming calls fine, though).

As far as paying through the nose for a phone, once you decide on your carrier and what kind of plan you want, and if you are OK with a 2-year service contract, look for advertised specials that give free phones for signing up for a service contract (or extending the one you have).

Yes, actually that was one of the incentives for me to buy it. The guy at Apple told me that just like a computer functionality of the iPhone is all done at the software level. So, if they want to make it not just a normal camera but a video camera it consists of merely updating the software. Or, if they have other things they want to update, it all happens on the level of the software. He said all the hardware is there, it is only a matter of software to make this thing even better than it already is. Truth be told though, it better be, for what you pay. Who wants to have to get a new iPhone each time something new is added...like an iPod

Yeah, but they are not going to pay as much as they pay for it to only become obsolete within months....that would annoy far too many and you would see a major exodus out of the Apple store, off the Apple bandwagon, and away from Apple products...I am sure Jobs does not want that

I wish I had bought some Apple calls a month or two ago back when the stock was in the $110-120 range...

So, it took longer than expected, and they are in the process of transferring my number over now, but I have access to every other iPhone feature and just set it up to the wireless network here at home...one word: Awesome!

There was a problem with activation....so I need to continue to wait a little more time...they had to force activation. I am waiting on a young girl's supervisor to approve the order, so that I can receive an email telling me it is activated
