farglefeezlebut
I have been having sinful dreams. I've discussed this before with a Catholic friend and she said that since I'm not fully conscious I'm not fully culpable, but... The dreams are very disturbing. And in the dreams, I am aware that what I'm doing is wrong and I still do it.
jeffpugh
I know the feeling. I don't know what to say, but ignore it, talk to a priest about it next confession. Don't let it drag you down. Pray the St Michael prayer before you go to bed. That works, I've found.
XIX
Is it a dream of something you are tempted to do in real life? If so, maybe these dreams are from God as a blunt reminder of how you will feel if you commit that particular sin in real life. For example, I'll have unchaste dreams and repent while dreaming. When i wake up I'm a little disturbed, but I use that as motivation to remain chaste in real life.

Noel's angel
You can't be held accountable for your dreams. You have no control over them, since they come from the sub-conscious. If you feel you may actually be tempted to act out such dreams, discuss it with a priest next time you go to Confession (ASAP). You only have to worry about this if it's spilling into reality. If you start entertaining these dreams in your conscious thought, go to Confession. It's thought that dreams represent aspects of life that is supressed. My theory is, if you talk to someone you trust about these dreams, it'll maybe get them out of your system. Pray, pray, pray!!!

Thanks aeveryone for your advice.
