Grrrrrr! All of my guitar chords, sweet webcomics, great photoblogs.... all gone! WAAAAAH!
I figured. Mine was the same way when I was using Firefox. And this, unfortunately, happened to me more than once. It was never permanent though. Hmm... I don't remember what I did. Sorry.

Theologian in Training
Common problem, complex solution. It is easier to link you to the fix rather than explaining how to do it http://home.att.net/~cherokee67/fflostbkmk.html Here is another one http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=1043872 Edited July 24, 2007 by Theologian in Training

journeyman
It's been too long since I went strolling through the directory tree . . . aren't they in a folder or subfolder of the "chrome" folder . . . how could they be anything but crunchy? Tink
I bet they are crunchy. Super crunchy. And those links make no sense to me, I looked in every Mozilla extension folder and file I could find, and saw nothing. Then again, it's 2am and I'm tired. I'll try again in the morning. Thanks!

I think that is right, I don't work all that often in Windows anymore. If not, just look for something that says "About" up above the address bar in the browser itself. Once you figure out the version of Firefox you are running, then go here http://home.att.net/~cherokee67/ns7profloc.html and follow the directions to get to where it is located on your harddrive. Once you find it, you will most likely see two different profiles, what you want to do is set it to load the default or original profile, that is where all your bookmarks are stored. That should work...and I tried to keep it as simple as possible. If you have any more questions, let me know.
Tink
Okay, I am actually quite computer literate, so I knew what the instructions were saying the first time. But I don't have a folder that says 'Application Data' and if I go to the Mozilla folder in Program Files, there's no 'profiles' folder. Therein lies my problem. And I'm running new Firefox 2.0. They don't even have that listed anyway.
