Ummm, so I opened Firefox a few minutes ago and it took me to a page that says 'upgrade to the new Firefox blah blah blah'. I ignored that and was going to click one of my toolbar links until I realized that IT AIN'T FREAKIN' THERE! What the heck? Has this happened to anyone else? Allllllll of my hundreds of bookmarks are gone. Vanished. I tried restarting Firefox but I still have nothing. No fair! Anybody know how I can recover my stuff? :sadwalk:

Sometimes with Firefox it can log you out of your normal user name and set you up on a temp one. Try restarting your computer.

If that doesn't work, you can have my bookmarks. :disguise:

I restarted my computer, but Firefox is set so that I don't have to select a user every time... it should just open up my browser. Grrrrrr! All of my guitar chords, sweet webcomics, great photoblogs.... all gone! WAAAAAH! :sadder:

Okay... your bookmarks should be backed up in HTML format. Try going to the root folder. Firefox does no wrong... it was your OS's glitch... if all else fails, export bookmarks from IE, and import them to Firefox. If that fails, email the guy who made Firefox.

Um, where is the root folder? And I never use IE, why would my bookmarks be there? And I'm not surprised if it's my OS's fault, I freaking hate Windows, especially on my computer. Can't WAIT for my Macbook pro to get here!! *does a little dance*

Someday, when I can afford to buy a computer, it will be a Mac.

My bookmarks were erased too when I downloaded firefox I was ticked off.

Firefox is the reason why I have a laptop now because I got ticked off at Firefox and actually punched my desktop tower which cracked the hard drive.

Let's just say when you have dial up, you try to download a program and it takes four hours to download and in the last five seconds firefox malfunctions and four hours of downloading was pointless, ticked me off. I usually don't have a temper.
